Been a while, i gotta get better at this 😉
These days with the annoying barrage of wellness related posts I make, I often get asked ‘what is well-being?’
Well I have to say, I have no idea. For me, it looks like routine, lots of hugs, reading books I love, adding value to the world around me, learning, growth, cold beer and fried chicken, and plenty of exercise (cause, y’know…beer and fried chicken).
Honestly, I believe that Wellness is, as we are, unique to each and every one of us. Sure there are some things we can do to that are really good for the brain and body; sleeping well, exercise, good diet, meditation etc. But honestly, the more I work on myself the more I realise that pretty much everything I do can have a ‘wellness’ approach in execution, and even cooler, a wellness based result, too.
Wellness for me is so accessible, but not for everyone and I understand that. Actually, I often think the word in itself can be kind of intimidating, and vague and elitist even. Which is total BS, imo. Wellness is for every single one of us.
Anyway, I’m working hard to put together some contents that hopefully will float the boats of people like me; who want to live a wellness life without having to eat lotus flowers and shave our heads. So come and play on the beach, I promise you’ll have fun. And if you don’t then, well that’s cool too. Just go create the life that fits you, and live it well.

Seriously, get up early and come relax with us on the beach, revitalize yer brain and meet some new people. Join us for some early morning Ocean Wellness to get warmed up for the day before the day warms up.
~~WHAT IS IT?~~
This session is part of a 4 week ‘introduction to wellness’ program designed to encourage mindful living, self reflection and positive thinking. Through mindfulness exercises, simple meditation and visualization techniques you’ll develop the skills to help you implement big changes into your hectic daily life.
The program has been specially developed with a healthy balance of fun, chill and science. If you’re ready to make some seriously positive changes in your lifestyle, this might just be for you!
This is an Ocean Wellness pilot program therefore sessions will be offered free, however donations will be gladly accepted.

~~WHAT DO I NEED?~~
Please wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We won’t need a change of clothes (this time) but please do bring a water bottle and something to sit on if you don’t want to sit on the sand.
Meeting point: Gwangan beach, Samick beach apartments side, opposite Gwangan Leports Centre

– Warm up (gentle stretching, mindful movement)
– Mindful Walking Exercise – Brain & Body
– Ocean meditation/Visualization
– Discussion & Reflection time
Schedule subject to change based on lack of participants, weather conditions, unforeseen giant squid attacks etc.
